This is an opportunity for an established supply chain professional to develop their career in a role that is responsible for supporting our outbound operations, driver management, road compliance plus operational and customer service performance. This is a 12 month max-term opportunity, working full-time hours Monday to Friday. Key areas:

Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and compliance with licensing protocols
Provide transport operational oversight, ensuring appropriate operational KPI's are developed and achieved so that service delivery meets contractual requirements
Identifying, evaluating and addressing transport risks focused on continuous improvement and innovation
Effective management and development of direct reports and operational teams
Partnership approach to customer relationships facilitating organic growth
Ensure that the systems and resources available are fully utilised to provide confidence to our customers

Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
