- Provide expert and knowledgeable advice to management and employees on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring alignment with company polies and legal regulations
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of 60+ properties in Australia and New Zealand, providing timely HR support and fostering a collaborative environment
- Handle employee matters sensitively and proactively, addressing grievances, and disciplinary actions while striving to maintain a harmonies environment
- Assist in the performance management process, ensuring development plans to enhance employee performance and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and industry standards, maintaining accurate records at all times
- Ensure HR budgetary compliance within the assigned portfolio’s rostering, annual leave accrual and salaries and wages
- Assist in preparing relevant documentation for employer nominated visa sponsorship applications
- Work closely with a team of experienced People and Culture Advisors, sharing insights, best practices, and collectively contributing to the achievement of HR goals and objectives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, combined with at least 5 years relevant experience
- High-level written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally
- Ability to achieve goals in the face of obstacles and cope effectively with change, setbacks and disappointments and remain calm and controlled under pressure
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective planning and organisational skills to manage, multiple tasks and ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to deal sensitively and maturely with confidential, personal information and records
- Availability to work full time hours, Monday - Friday
