The team is responsible for providing the technology and data platforms underpinning REA's products, services, and operations. The team consists of around 160 people, which are distributed across the Enterprise Technology, SPACE, Tech Community and Data Services teams.ETech is responsible for making all REA employees happy and productive by empowering them with technology. As part of ETech the Finance Squad plays an integral role providing strategic, commercial input and guidance around decisions across all levels of the business, while continually improving the ‘behind the scenes’ of REA to support our people, as well as providing support to all other functional areas of the business around the globe.What The Role Is All AboutAs a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining our Enterprise systems. You’ll become an integral part of an agile team, providing your expertise of systems engineering & design, operational work practices, fault finding and incident management. You will be expected to implement sustainable solutions in a collaborative and creative work environment to support our many lines of business. Responsibilities will include:Ensuring the availability and performance of our systemsWork with the rest of the team to continuously improve the systems we provideProvide help and advice to users of those systemsHelp us identify common problems within Enterprise Tech, and design simple solutionsScheduled occasional shifts on-call to support key services outside business hoursWho We’re Looking ForNetworking experience on distributed routing, switching, firewall and wireless systems (Palo Alto, Arista, & Cisco)Infrastructure experience administrating NetApp, VMware, Cisco & AristaExperience with administrating and integrating a variety of SaaS based systems such as Microsoft 365, Okta, Zoom, PagerDuty, Workday and Slack into a corporate environmentExperience in securely deploying systems (Windows/Linux) to AWS infrastructure from CI/CD pipelinesMaintain and uplift a variety of systems using best practice (security, testing, automation, and monitoring)Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self-direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high quality workLooks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lensWorks productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)The REA ExperienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
