Reporting to the ICT and Infrastructure Manager, this role will see you working in a centralised procurement team responsible for the undertaking of strategic procurement projects and contract management activities.
Responsibilities will include:

Manage strategic procurement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Provide procurement guidance and services encompassing planning, sourcing documentation, evaluation processes, negotiation, contract administration and contract management.
Category management.
Oversee and provide advice on financial, contractual, and procurement systems compliance, aligning with organisational policies and the State Procurement Policy.
Administer contracts in partnership with Contract Managers.
Engage in negotiations and consultations with internal and external stakeholders to address procurement and contract-related matters, identifying specific business requirements and ensuring timely compliance.

Selection criteriaTo be successful you will have;

Previous experience within a similar, government role – essential
Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent experience highly desirable
Computer literacy (Advanced Excel and SAP – highly favourable)
Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology and/or Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Current COVID-19 vaccination and be willing to undergo a Police History Check
