Reporting to the ICT and Infrastructure Manager, this role will see you working in a centralised procurement team responsible for the undertaking of strategic procurement projects and contract management activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage strategic procurement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Provide procurement guidance and services encompassing planning, sourcing documentation, evaluation processes, negotiation, contract administration and contract management.
- Category management.
- Oversee and provide advice on financial, contractual, and procurement systems compliance, aligning with organisational policies and the State Procurement Policy.
- Administer contracts in partnership with Contract Managers.
- Engage in negotiations and consultations with internal and external stakeholders to address procurement and contract-related matters, identifying specific business requirements and ensuring timely compliance.
- Previous experience within a similar, government role – essential
- Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent experience highly desirable
- Computer literacy (Advanced Excel and SAP – highly favourable)
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology and/or Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Current COVID-19 vaccination and be willing to undergo a Police History Check
