The CompanyOur client, a top tier Architecture & Design practice in the CBD, are seeking a Practice Manager with HR capability to join their growing team. Boasting an excellent company culture and a beautiful workspace, this is an opportunity to join an industry that will contribute to the ongoing transformation of Melbourne.They offer services in architecture, urban design, master planning and interiors across both the public and private sectors.What will you be responsible for?· HR/P&C - employee relations, contract generation, recruitment, performance reviews, new starter induction, updating policies, maintain staff records, staff timesheets.
· Quality Management System compliance, quality assurance, OHS/first aid.
· Integrated Management System updating project information, update manuals and processes, support maintenance of project workflow, coordinate internal meetings, audit of documents in Aconex.
· Practice operations - support with staff resourcing, supplier/vendor management (building maintenance - electricians, plumbers, security) , ensuring smooth office operations, event management/coordination, marketing support.
· Accounts and finance- liaising with/supporting accounts team.
· Staff Management – Responsible for management, upskilling and development of a Receptionist and Studio Assistant.What do you need to succeed?· Demonstrated experience managing the operations of a studio, Architecture and Design preferred
· Similar experience in the design or building industry is highly regarded
· Professional presentation and excellent communication skills.
· Advanced MS Office is essential.
· Excellent internal and external stakeholder management.
