Our Cityworks team is looking for a self-motivated and hardworking individual to fill the position of Gully Eductor Operator. The role involves drainage maintenance delivering proactive and reactive drainage cleaning using a gully educting truck. Reporting to the Drainage Supervisor, you will support the Team Leader Gully Eductor by planning, executing and reporting day to day work ensuring a safe and productive workplace.To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Previous experience and knowledge in performing eductor cleaning of stormwater drainage systems including deep drains, manholes, gullies, gross pollutant traps and catchpits
  • Current Construction White Card
  • Current HR-B class national driver’s licence (as a minimum) with previous experience
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management
  • Enter and Work in a Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Work Safely at Heights
  • Knowledge of safe operation and user maintenance of plant, equipment and heavy vehicles
  • Understanding of, and commitment to safe working practices in a general construction environment
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, work to levels, operating procedures and safety instructions.
In addition to above, the following experience will be highly regarded;
  • Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • Completion of Year 10 Certificate (desirable)
  • Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane
