This role involves performing routine examinations, vaccinations, dental procedures, lameness evaluations, and emergency care in both clinic and field settings. You will work closely with horse owners, trainers, and other equine professionals to develop customized treatment plans and promote the health and welfare of our patients.Key Responsibilities:
Conducting on-site examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for equine patients
Providing preventive care, including vaccinations, deworming, and dental procedures
Evaluating lameness and performance issues, and implementing appropriate treatment plans
Performing emergency medical procedures and providing after-hours care as needed
Collaborating with clients to educate them on horse health and management practices
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current on advances in equine medicine and surgery
