Permanent part-time Social Worker to join our team! Graduates encouraged to apply | we are offering 30hrs minimum per fortnight to support your work life balance!About The RoleThis position will suit a social worker with inpatient hospital experience or a graduate social worker who is keen to develop their skills in hospital social work.The successful candidate will join a fast-paced acute medical environment to provide services to a wide variety of patients and their families inclusive of aged care, general medical and general surgical patients.You will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of clinical care. Working in partnership with the allied health team, you will oversee evidence-based practice in a coordinated and efficient manner.Your Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess:

Social Work qualifications and eligibility for the AASW
Health Social Work experience preferred
Excellent psychosocial assessment skills (Highly developed social work assessment and counselling skills) and a strong commitment to high quality care
Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Ability to prioritize and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice
