- Legislative and regulatory requirements across the various departments in the business
- Research, analysis, proposals and submissions on business development initiatives
- Legal and gaming compliance, particularly the co-ordination, supervision and support of the organisation's legal compliance programs, training, auditing and reporting
- Being the organisation's Principal Privacy Officer; and
- Development and evaluation of operational policies and procedures across the organisation
- Post admission experience at either a private law firm, or in an in-house role
- Demonstrated negotiating and commercial drafting skills
- Ability to formulate, implement and manage compliance functions in a relatively complex and diverse legal and regulatory environment
- Ability to interpret legislation and convey legal and regulatory requirements, as well as provide advice and guidance on policy development to a range of business units
- Strategic outlook with strong research, analytical and report writing skills
- Strong decision making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to working in a team structure
- Bachelor of Laws degree
- Admitted to practice law in Western Australia
- Current West Australian Practicing Certificate (desirable)
