- 9 day fortnight roster - Mon-Fri, Mon-Thurs (3 day weekend every fortnight)
- Travel within roster on paid work time

- Rail specific tools, uniform, PPE and shared work vehicle supplied
- Install, maintain, repair and adjust electrical signalling equipment.
- Undertake scheduled maintenance activities on signalling equipment.
- Attend signalling failures to analyse, repair and report on cause of failures.
- Maintain records and documentation relating to signal maintenance and costing systems.
- Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program and report any equipment irregularities.
- Work predominately between the hours of 0715 to 1615 on a 9-day fortnight
- Must have Certificate IV Railway Signalling
- Must have current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Must have current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence or interstate equivalent that can be changed over prior to starting
- Experienced in the installation, maintenance and fault rectification of signalling equipment
- Must have the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
- Do I have to pay to get to site? No, you start and finish at the depot. All travel is on paid time.
- Are uniforms supplied? Yes
- How many weeks annual leave? 4 weeks
- Do I need my own tools? Yes - Specialized equipment will also be supplied
