Position Title: Lead Pharmacist (Programs) - Innovation and Operational Priorities
Employment Type: Maximum Term (Up to 12 months Maternity Leave backfill)
Hours per week: 24 hours per week (Weekends and on-call required)
Position Grade: Pharmacist Grade 3 (Year 1 - 2)
Salary: $80,445.70- $82,622.36 base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

About the role:The Lead Pharmacist (Programs) – Innovation and Operational Priorities will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining key priorities for the pharmacy service, including the delivery of relevant projects, new models of care and monitoring systems. Priority areas will be aligned to SVHA and NSW Health strategic plan and the needs of the department, and will be focused on enhancing services in virtual, non-admitted and inpatient settings. The Lead Pharmacist for Innovation and Operational Priorities will also assist the Director of Pharmacy to find and implement service efficiencies to delivery these priorities.The suitable candidate will work as part of the wider SVHS pharmacy department who strive to uphold the SVHA Mission and Values through their dedication to patient care and focus on professional development and research.All Lead Pharmacist roles are integral members of the SVHS pharmacy leadership team to provide strategic, clinical and operational objectives for the pharmacy service. The position will have joint responsibility with other Team Leader and Lead Pharmacist positions, to maintain leadership and management of the pharmacy service across all operational hours. At times this position may undertake the roles of other Team Leader and Lead Pharmacists to ensure continuity of service provision.Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia2. Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions on scope of practice and post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience, and availability for on-call and weekend work as per roster requirements.3. Significant experience and a demonstrated high level of competence, expertise, skill and application of clinical judgment in the provision of clinical pharmacy services and demonstrated commitment to professional development.4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop high quality written guidelines, procedures, educational, research or business materials.5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, team building, influencing, conflict resolution and the building of a positive workplace culture.6.
