- Provide leadership to the cost control team.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of cost control activities.
- Drive improvement with strategy.
- Support the team and individuals professional development.
- Coordinate the development of project reporting (weekly and monthly) deliverables and ensure the highest accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate the Change Management process and budget allocation.
- Coordinate the delivery of Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders/Service Entry Sheets.
- Drive a Continuous Improvement culture within the team to maximise portfolio value and enhance improvement and innovation.
- 5+ years experience in project controls, project cost engineering on large mining projects is essential.
- Experience in leading teams, management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in budget allocation, forecasting, accruals, claims and management.
- Experience in development and reporting of project reporting deliverables.
- Strong relationship management and communication is essential for this role.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, finance or a similar discipline.
- A high level of computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office suite and CMS, SAP, or similar cost management system
