Design and Build have proudly partnered with one of Queensland's largest civil contracting companies. We are looking for a Site Engineer who will play a vital role in Civil Construction Projects across Moreton Bay/Sunshine Coast.POSITIONAs Site Engineer, you are responsible to deliver key major civil subdivision projects across the Moreton Bay/Sunshine Coast region and support the Project and Site Management team. Reporting to the Project Manager you will ensure all works are delivered to standard and under HSEQ guidelines.
Provide on-site engineering services in support of the Project Management team
Subdivision/Infrastructure projects
Manage work teams in the field and undertake procurement as required
PERSONTo be successful in this position, you will hold previous experience as a Civil Site Engineer preferably on-site with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent. You will be a driven and well-organised individual who has the ability to prioritise tasks and a great understanding of safety legislation. Australian standards and industry codes.
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent
Understanding of distribution of contractual responsibilities between Client, Contractor, Subcontractor and Supplier
Understanding of specific project scope of works and contractual procedures for managing change
Previous experience working in civil engineering or construction environment, preferably in Infrastructure/Subdivisions
