What you'll be doingThe purpose of the role is the coordination and facilitation of the Emergency Medicine Education & Training (EMET) Hub. This role includes oversight of the Emergency Medicine Certificate and Diplomas, work alongside the Medical Lead to organise aspects of the EMET teaching program and be the link between the Hub and DEMT’s regarding the College’s specialist training program. You will maintain and use databases, complete data analysis and preparation of reports.This role also works alongside the District Director of the Workplace Based Assessment (WBA) program and assists with administration tasks and reporting to the Australian Medical Council (AMC).
Additionally, this role provides administrative support to the Emergency Medical Workforce Team.All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.   • Capability in providing administrative support with a sound knowledge of general administration procedures and technology
  • Competent skills in computer use and relevant software programs (eg Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Capacity to work under broad supervision and ability to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficient organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve situations concurrent with assigned workload
  • Current drivers licence and ability to travel if required
