- Assist with clients’ strategic, commercial, operational, and financial needs by addressing the full spectrum of challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders
- Undertake company, industry, and market research and investigation
- Review and analyse financial statements and projections and assess business plans
- Perform financial, ratio and comparable business analysis, and build comprehensive financial models to best practice standard
- Support with conducting due diligence, including analysing commercial and market dynamics as well as performing financial reviews, including providing general deal support in connection with M&A
- Provide project management support to clients, including for post-merger integration engagements
- Formulate a range of solutions for cost optimisation and profit improvement by reviewing financial and operational dynamics
- Develop and assist implementation of precise and measurable plans to improve business performance
- Liaise closely with mid-level and senior client executives, developing trusted relationships and gaining valuable insights by working closely with them to analyse and optimise critical aspects of their businesses
- Attend client sites to carry out duties and collate information will be necessary
- Prepare draft reports, investor memoranda and presentations
- Resilience, a strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and desire to embrace challenges
- 2-4 years professional experience (preferably with Big-4 accounting firm, strategy consulting firm, private equity or a boutique investment house) Driven to deliver high quality client service and deliverables with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong financial, analytical, quantitative and data analysis capability
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting and business/commercial principles
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI preferred
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve best possible outcomes for our clients
- This role may require travel to client and FTI offices
