Learn more .Current opportunityOur Government Incentives team is currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join as an R&D Tax Senior Consultant. We are looking for someone who loves to write and have knowledge in a broad range of topics, including but not limited to, science, engineering, law, commerce and maths. The focus of our Government Incentives consultancy is to assist clients in obtaining and maximising the benefit from a range of incentives available to industry including R&D tax incentives and other grants.Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Drafting and preparation of R&D tax incentive claims with Industry, Innovation and Science Australia (IISA) including preparation of the documentation outlining the nature and extent of R&D activity carried out in the year.
  • Preparation of tax schedules and financial calculations for inclusion in the company tax return
  • Attending meetings with relevant stakeholders across a variety of industries
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and be responsible for end to end delivery of the project
  • Researching, interpreting and applying provisions of tax legislation
  • Providing professional and administrative support and assistance to the Manager and Partner group.
For this diverse role we seek the services of Senior Consultant in one or more of the disciplines of Commerce, Engineering, Law, Mathematics or Science.You will need to have an interest in and curiosity about technology and business transactions, an ability to work as part of our team and be keen to learn the legal, financial and technical issues associated with this challenging role.
