American style barns, also, manufactures, supplies and erects steel structures for rural and industrial applications. The company is currently looking for experienced and qualified Fitters to join their team in Dandenong South, VIC 3175.The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:- Work within Roltek's safety procedures and policies
- Set roll-forming plant to produce required products
- Commission roll-forming plant after machine settings altered
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure documented product specifications are met
- Review and follow documented safe systems of work
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as per programmed maintenance system requirements
- Carry out breakdown rectification works as required within competency capabilities
- Complete and submit maintenance service records
- Replenish maintenance spares as required
- Maintain high level of workplace housekeeping
- Support production department with meeting output requirementsSkills and abilities:- At least 3 years' experience as a Fitter
- Trade qualification in mechanical trade or related discipline
- Experience in a fast paced production environment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Able to understand and carry out instructions within safety requirements
- Able to work within a team and autonomously
- Computer literate, working with Microsoft productsSalary range is $,65000 - $75,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
