The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated, trade qualified mechanic to join our field service team as a Field Service Technician (Lube Truck). Based out of the Somerton branch, this role will have you conducting onsite maintenance, servicing and minor repairs to Hitachi earthmoving equipment.In this role you will be responsible for:

Carrying out high quality maintenance, repair work and routine servicing to our premium equipment in the field
Completion of inspection reports and other essential paperwork as required
Providing quality customer service at all times
Minimising machine downtime and maximising productivity

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Relevant trade qualification - Heavy Diesel Technicians and Light Automotive mechanics encouraged
Demonstrated experience in servicing and/or repairing of automotive and/or earthmoving equipment
Strong communication skills and customer service focus
Ability to navigate technical issues in repair and maintenance services
Self-motivated and team orientated
Hold a MR Drivers license or above
