  • Aircrafts engineering Maintenance 95%.
  • Facility engineering Maintenance 5%.
  • Perform inspection, rectification, maintenance, and certification on company aircraft and equipment, as per manufacturer /company's
specifications to a very high standard.
  • Ensuring timely and correct certification of all work carried out.
  • Complying with the company's Safety Management System.
  • Maintain close working relationship with Chief Engineer or his deputy.
  • Ensure all work is performed to the appropriate standard.
  • Ensure all work is performed using safe work practices and observe WHS requirements.
  • Work the nominated periods along with some overtime when required.
  • Maintain appropriate approvals as required by the authority.
  • Comply with all relevant FTA policies and CASA regulations.
Qualifications and experienceEssential
  • Hold a B1.2 CASA Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • CASA license for either/both engine and airframe categories.
  • Have Proven Experience in the GA Industry.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License.
  • Hold a valid Aviation Security Identification Card or be able to obtain one.
  • Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Desirable
  • Experience with Garmin 1000.
  • Good work skills and sound work practices.
  • Good work ethic and willing team player.
  • Physical demand:
  • The ability to lift 2/10/15 kg regularly
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 10 kg
  • The ability to work in extreme weather
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
