In order to deliver this commitment, we seek like-minded people and work hard to support our staff to realise their full potential.About the Role:Our Eastern Creek branch is looking for its next superstar machinery Sales Representative (known internally as Area Manager).This role will specialise in the Vermeer Environmental product range, selling Chippers, Stump Grinders & Mini Skid Steers.You will represent and build solid & dependable relationships in your territory, running between southern Sydney and down the south coast.We want to ensure we provide them with the machinery they need (or just simply want!) for their chosen operation.This job will involve:
  • Use Company provided systems/tools (e.g. Sales Advantage) to fully document, track, record, follow-up
and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner * Promote whole-goods, parts, and service as a customer solution and build long term relationships withintheir territory to maximise customer and company profitability to meet sales targets * Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industrytrends * Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work site
  • Maintain strong knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading
purposes * Work in conjunction with Sales Manager and relevant Departments, responsible for follow-up andexpediting of whole good orders * Coordinate and/or communicate with customers and applicable Departments to ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of the
CompanyYou will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Prior sales experience and/or training (Company range of products preferred)
  • Solid understanding of local market conditions
  • Knowledge of resale values of particular machinery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills
