This is a large privately GP owned practice in the Central Highlands, spread across sites in Blackwater and Emerald. Offering well-equipped consultation rooms and up-to-date equipment; this mixed billing clinic operates on holistic values to provide a range of services to the residents of the Central Highlands. Both AGPAL and QIP accredited, the practice offers patients convenient appointments both during the day and after hours (between 5.30pm – 8pm), online appointment booking and access to a dedicated telehealth room to facilitate remote specialist visits.About their Services
With a purpose-built main clinic in Blackwater, this practice also serves the wider community via their Emerald location and is equipped and supported to facilitate a range of services, such as:
- Occupational Medicine (including workplace injuries and workers health assessments under the CMWHS)
- Skin Cancer Medicine
- Skin Cancer surgery
- Women’s health
- Children and family health
- Cosmetic procedures such as anti-wrinkle, dermal fillers and chemical peels

You will be supported by three full-time Nurses, six administrative staff, Practice Business Manager and Practice Finance Officer within the practice. Work across multi-sites with both Blackwater (MM5) and Emerald (MM4) approved under DPA.Additional potential incentive benefits include:

- Enjoy an immediate patient base that will see you busy from your first day, with pathology located on-site (Blackwater) and a range of specialist allied health such as counselling, psychology, speech pathology, exercise physiology, diabetes education and more.

- Supervision and/or training to meet the requirement to register as an Examining Medical Officer (EMO) with RSHQ to provide workers assessments under the CMWHS Supervision and/or training to provide cosmetic services such as chemical peels, dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.
- MBBS or equivalent
- Specialist registration with AHPRA (or on PEP / ACCRM IP or willing to do so)
- FRACGP / FACRRM (or enrolled in program / willing to do so)
- A daily rate of $1,500 - $1800 is offered for initial 3 months.
- $1,500 for morning (8.30am-12pm) and afternoon (1.30pm – 4.30pm) clinics
- $1,800 for evening clinic (5.30pm – 8pm)
- Saturdays (8.30-12.30pm) attract a rate of $675 additional.
- After 3 months you will transition to negotiated billings percentage
The HQ clinic is located in Blackwater, a growing mining town located approximately 200km west of Rockhampton. Serviced by an expanding shopping centre, council office, schools to year 12, churches, a multi-purpose health service, emergency services, courthouse and civic centre. Blackwater also has a variety of recreational, cultural, sporting and leisure groups including an arts and crafts centre, swimming pool and sporting fields which are actively used by the community. The Emerald clinic sits a further 76km west of Blackwater and is located in a busy part of the town, easily accessible from the main road and conveniently located near pathology and imaging services, while sharing a space with a range of allied health and community professionals.
