About the Company:RDO Equipment is one of the world's largest and most trusted John Deere and Vermeer equipment dealers, selling and supporting John Deere Construction & Forestry, and Agricultural & Turf machinery, as well as the full range of Vermeer equipment.About the Role:We have opportunities at our Townsville branch for a Service Technician (Field). A varied role that will see you working on a range of equipment across John Deere Construction, Forestry machinery and Vermeer Equipment.This field-based role will entail from general service and repairs to major overhauls and new machine assembly.You will get the opportunity to work on:

Graders, Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steers, ADT's, Dozers

Vermeer equipment

Compact Construction Equipment

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Mechanical Trade Certificate

Great communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.

A current and valid driver's licence

A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.

Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be an advantage.
