With a presence across Australia & New Zealand, Findex is now seeking more talent to grow and develop alongside our existing staff.We are currently seeking candidates with a passion for accounting and numbers in our Dalby/ Chinchilla Office, whether you are a bookkeeper/ accounting officer or fully qualified Accountant, we want to hear from you!What will your typical week look like?Depending on your experience, duties may include:
Bookkeeping
GST compliance and simple tax compliance
Maintenance of transactional business records for clients
Support and maintenance of clients' accounting software
Preparation of GST returns
Preparation of income tax returns
For qualified accounting candidates:
Produce financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
Assist clients with meeting their GST obligations, including preparation of quarterly returns for clients
Consistently provide quality accountancy services with efficiency and accuracy
Work with a range of the top accounting software, assisting clients to learn the full functionality of their system and get the most out of it for their business needs

You are someone with a genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
Accounting experience in a professional services environment or similar role would be an advantage
Ideally someone with strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e., Xero, MYOB)
Experience/ knowledge of reconciling balances and conducting general bookkeeping
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
Ideally studying towards or have completed your degree qualifications or similar work experience
