All Metal Solutions is seeking an experienced, dedicated and qualified full time Boilermaker-Welder to join their dynamic team.JOB OVERVIEW:A Boilermaker-Welder shapes, assembles and joins metal parts to produce or repair components and structures such as Dump truck bodies, boilers and storage tanks. They cut marked metal sections using hand tools, flame-cutting torches, or metalworking machines such as guillotines and shearing machines, and shape and bend sections and pipes by forging or using hand and machine tools such as vices, hydraulic presses and rolling machines. Parts and structures are assembled by welding, bolting or riveting, or in some cases using large equipment such as cranes.Boilermakers-Welders trained in fabrication may be involved in fitting, assembling and joining aluminium and steel in the construction or repair of heavy earth moving equipment such as track dozers, down hole drills, face shovels and draglines. They examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision. Cleans and smooths welds by filing, chiselling and grinding.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Incumbents normally hold a trade certificate with relevant experiencePERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

KEY DUTIES:

Manufacture, Guillotining, Welding, Grinding, Drilling, Polishing to Trade requirements.

Fabricate all work in accordance with Job Sheets and Drawings stamped with "Approved for Manufacture" and signed by the relevant Project Manager.

Notify relevant Project Manager of job or section of job completed. Return all job sheets, specifications, drawings, material lists and other relevant documentation to the project manager on completion of the job.

Use of Fabrication Checklist to aid manufacture.

Advise Project Manager when Witness and Hold Points on I.T.P. have been maintained.

Maintain cleanliness of fabrication area.

Responsible for compiling Material Lists for all jobs and/or part-order completed. Recording both Purchased and Stock material on the material list is essential.

Accurately record the hours worked on each job and/or workshop duties on a Time Card on a daily basis. Time cards must be completed and ready for collection each afternoon by 3.00 pm, for payroll processing and allocating labour to jobs.

Report any low stocks of consumables and/or materials to the Store person

Ensure apprentice nominated to tradesperson for on-the-job training, and receives appropriate training in a supportive work environment.

QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all work completed satisfies all Q.A. requirements and customer specifications.

Must be able to work within the scope of Q.A. Procedures

Act on non-conformances issued.

Sign Fabrication Checklist as verification of use and inspection

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all fabrication, processing procedures and methods are safe.

Report faulty machinery or machinery breakdowns to Workshop Manager.

Abide by all company Safety Regulations at all times, and report any personnel not complying with these regulations to Safety Committee Members or Management.

A remuneration package between $70,000 to $90,000 per annum plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
