- To ensure that direct reports are delivering craft outputs of the highest quality, consistent with the agency and client process.
- To work with the CSO and MD to calibrate and prioritise resource on an ongoing basis in view of local client priorities, organic revenue opportunities and the contract renewal cycle.
- Play an active role in identifying the local ‘big bet briefs’ that present opportunity for award worthy work
- To effectively manage direct reports to help them develop as motivated, productive and passionate practitioners and members of the wider team
- Strong and up to date grasp of the media landscape and the levers of effectiveness in media and communications more broadly
- 10yrs+ Media Agency experience, 7yrs+ in Strategic Discipline
- Able to support clients with ‘beyond the brief’ strategic support such as portfolio planning, budget setting, marketing plan development
- Strong understanding of the capabilities of both industry and proprietary tools and systems used within dentsu, able to guide junior team members on the outcomes they can support
- An optimistic attitude, able to positively and proactively contribute to the shape of the discipline, team and agency in a fast-moving industry
