Lawson Elliott is excited to be working with a well-established and reputable company who is looking to welcome in a confident Finance Officer to join their Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great team to learn new skills and be recognised as a key member of the accounts team.Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:

Handling accounts payable/receivable and payroll duties
Support and assist in implementing new process's and workflows
Maintaining financial records accurately
Bank reconciliations
Preparation of bills and invoices for clients
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Resolving accounts to the general ledger
Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
Managing the Accounts team inbox and respond to queries
Ad-hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role:

3+ years proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
Xero & Reckon experienced would be desirable
Strong and confident communication skills
Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills
