Action Drill & Blast is the leading integrated drilling and blasting contractor in Australia.We have a positive team culture based on our core values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork and Innovation and we provide our employees with a safe and friendly work environment.We are currently seeking applications for 2 experienced Trainer & Assessors for 8 days on, 6 days off and 14 days on 14 days off positions for our WA Projects.We Offer:

Duties:

Responsible for delivery of training, assessments, and competency-based activities across the scope of drill and blast
Conducting Verification of Competency as per the Training and Compliance Procedure
Maintain accurate records of training activities and assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues and leadership team to improve training materials and processes at sites.
Foster a positive learning environment and support trainees through their development.
Liaison with Project Manager and Training Superintendent

You will need:

Good computer literacy – MS Outlook, MS Word and Excel
Certificate IV TAE40116 Training and Assessment or equivalent
Accuracy and attention to detail in record management
Sound knowledge of Drill & Blast equipment and processes
Aptitude to understand manufacturer's manuals and handbooks
Strong communication and rapport building skills
Comfortable with LMS systems and tablet technology as a training and assessment tool
At least 4 years in a mining environment
