Leveraging their extensive industry expertise and network, the company continually adapts to evolving market trends and regulatory requirements, providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.The PositionThis company has a rare opportunity to joint their ranks in an Import / Export Operator role working in the East Brisbane offices.This role, reporting to the National Operations Manager, will be working with all sea and air freight managed by this company that is coming into Australia, from prior to the ETD to after the ETA. On an average day you will be:

Lodgement of cargo with shipping and airlines
Liaise with clients, brokers, transport companies and overseas agents
Keep financial data updated for accurate billing
Update customer accounts on CRM and keep customers informed

The PackageAlongside full product and job training given by both my client and their customer covering both the logistics and operational parts of the role, the package on offer for the successful candidate is up to $80,000 per year, plus superannuation.The CandidateTo be considered for this role it is essential that the candidate has experience in importing and exporting regulations as well as booking interstate freight, good verbal and written communication is also required. Other attributes that would be highly desired by my client are:

An understanding of Incoterms®
Ability to work autonomously and with within a team
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of Expedient would be advantageous
2 years' experience in a similar role
