With a national network of wholly owned metropolitan and remote clinics, we deliver Occupational Health, General Practice and integrated medical, paramedical and wellness services to both large and small corporate and community groups.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are currently seeking to engage a QLD based Remote Area Registered Nurse for our Mount Isa Mine Site on a Casual basis. This role will be to cover periods of sick leave and annual leave etc.DUTIESReporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including however not limited to:

High level nursing skills to work autonomously
Patient triage
Administering vaccinations
Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
Compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
General administration duties
Phlebotomy
Current Immunisation Certificate – Desirable
Providing on-site health and injury management services
Emergency primary care of injured workers
Drug & Alcohol testing, Lead level and hydration testing
Immunisations

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAs the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with:

Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification
Current Immunisation Certificate – Desirable
