- Typing, formatting, mark-up, proof reading and collating contracts, documents and agreements
- Drafting basic correspondence
- Preparing client bills using Aderant and complying with invoicing/engagement requirements (i.e. obtaining purchase orders, e-billing systems)
- Management of other internal financial queries including end of financial year trust statements
- Preparing monthly client reports and accounts
- Debtor control and assisting the Credit Team with following up outstanding accounts
- Creation of new clients and matters through Aderant
- Conduct company, organisational and PPSR searches
- Marketing support including updating Interaction to include client contacts, updating invite lists for events etc
- Arranging travel and accommodation through CTM platform
- Processing expense claims via Zeno
- Electronic file management
- Coordinating and arranging meetings including video conferencing via Microsoft Teams
- Organisation of in-house and external seminars/conferences for lawyers and graduates
- Liaising with clients, lawyers and other staff in an efficient and professional manner
- Diary coordination and management of calendar invitations and appointments
- Dictation when required using BigHand system
- Certificate in Legal Studies desired but not essential
- A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe
- Knowledge of practice, document management and billing systems desired
- Administrative support experience gained in a law firm is essential. Corporate law exposure is highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, spelling and grammar
