WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
  • To achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory, in this case, Melbourne East/VIC East to NSW border & Tasmania (quarterly).
  • You will be promoting defined products to key specialists and other stakeholders in the hospital environment, with a focus on Anaesthetics, ED, sports medicine and ICU.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS?
  • Establishing and building relationships with key opinion leaders and relevant clinicians and decision makers, both in existing and new accounts, to sell and educate in a specified therapy area, while developing and implementing sales and call plans for your territory as part of the national strategy.
  • You will primarily spend your time within the emergency and ICU areas of key hospitals in Melbourne's East - Alfred, Eastern Health.
  • This territory has tremendous opportunity, so potential earnings are HUGE!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB
  • You can be a business developer in medical devices, a hunter, or a clinical applications specialist in medical imaging (sonographer ideally), with a hunger & drive to get into sales. Most important is the right attitude and a technical/clinical aptitude.
  • With an amazing product that sells itself once you are in front of the right people, they are looking for an experienced medical device/capital equipment sales professional who is very confident in their sales and clinical ability.
  • If you have any experience in medical imaging (sonography), that will be a distinct advantage.
  • You will be able to easily discuss your clinical and/or sales achievements and how you can build relationships with clinicians with ease.
  • This company is very open to training for someone with clinical apps experience without sales.
