- Develop and execute the pre-opening culinary and stewarding strategy in harmony with our property, brand, and sustainability goals.
- Lead a diverse team with energy, ensuring the delivery of Good-Natured Service aligned with 1 Hotels' Vision, Mission, and Compass.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, showcasing your culinary prowess, and masterfully manage all food-related functions.
- Design and Coordinate menus, purchasing, staffing, and food preparation for various departments, with a focus on sustainability and locally sourced produce.
- Ensure top-notch sanitation and food standards, offering excellent customer service, and being quick to respond to team member and guest concerns.
- Stay on top of guest feedback, performance data, and market trends to drive engagement, boost revenue, and keep us at the forefront of the competition.
- Develop and manage the culinary and stewarding budget, hitting financial goals while keeping a positive cost management index.
- Recruit, select, and mentor an extraordinary team who embody the vibrant culture of 1 Hotels.
- Foster a learning atmosphere, championing continuous improvement, innovation, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Build and nurture an organizational culture that maximizes employee engagement, attracts top talent, and encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Previous pre-opening experience within a luxury or lifestyle hotel with a strong focus on Banqueting and Events
- A Leader Who Puts People First – leads from the front!
- Extensive culinary expertise with a passion for local, fresh and progressive food.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility and adept prioritization.
- Technically savvy, familiar with culinary operating systems, and a maestro at problem-solving.
- Creative, organised, passionate, commercial and a lover of quality food!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
