This will be a permanent full-time role at our Perth (Forrestdale) office. You will be required to work Monday - Friday 9-5pmWorking with Hitachi means working with and learning from some of the best in the industry and the opportunity to progress your career with Hitachi nationwide!Acting as an integral part of the Administration team, This role will have you providing end to end administrative support and will be best suited to a personable professional who enjoys being the welcoming face of the Western region.Reporting to the Administration Manager some of your responsibilities will be:
  • Greeting customers, visitors and contractors in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Ensure Reception entrance and front of house is neat and tidy at all times.
  • Receiving and directing incoming phone calls and email enquires. Interpreting customer queries and understanding needs to ensure Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction is successfully delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring our visitor Rapid Global system.
  • Assisting accounts maintaining customer payment systems and in house databases through timely and accurate data entry.
  • Managing use and bookings of office facilities and coordinating meeting schedules for internal and external users.
  • Managing stationery and consumables, Mail and parcel disbursement and uniform ordering.
  • Providing quality administrative services to support branch operations in true Hitachi Spirit.
  • Ensuring and monitoring compliance in house to WHS Policies and Procedures and organising safety inductions.
  • Ad-hoc branch administrative duties as requested.
To be successful you will need:
  • Availability to work 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar office support role (exposure to accounts would be advantageous but is not essential)
  • A helpful and friendly attitude is essential as you will be based front of house and often be the first point of contact for multiple departments.
  • The initiative and ability to multi-task and coordinate comprehensive office support efficiently and effectively.
  • A positive can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel (Intermediate level)
  • Dynamics 365 experience is preferred but not essential.
