- Real-time service monitoring using Public Transport Information and Priority System (PTIPS) to actively monitor bus services.
- Implement PTIPS policies and procedures to ensure effective communication, intervention and other actions to support service delivery.
- Initiate and respond to radio communication with bus drivers, addressing incidents, traffic diversions and other operational concerns.
- Maintain communication with depot management to handle operational matters including incidents, changeovers and service coordination.
- Provide real-time information to external stakeholders such as the Traffic Management Centre and the Transport Info Line.
- Monitor and coordinate with emergency services to promptly address risks, incidents or environmental hazards.
- Review incidents and accidents to enhance service delivery, reduce risk and improve safety protocols.
- Problem-solving skills including in emergency situations.
- Analytical skills to track and interpret information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including above average voice and diction clarity.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with all levels of management, staff and external or Government agencies.
