Randstad Darwin is currently recruiting for an experienced AO6 Property OfficerRole: A06 Property OfficerSalary: $76,968 to $88,249 dependent on experiencePermanent RoleFull time office hours Monday to FridayDarwin based roleAs the AO6 Property officer you will will manage a portfolio of commercial and residential propertiesThis role includes the management of

employee and head leases
service contracts
property maintenance
managing property letting, inspections and preparation of reports and recommendations

The AO6 Property officer is an integral role within the Assets, Property and Insurance team supporting the organisations strategic objectives and continuity of business operationsThe ideal candidate will possess:

Qualifications in property management
3+ years experience in a similar role
Experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential TenanciesAct 1999
Provide support to the Assets, Property and Insurance team in a range of functions associated with leasing and maintaining properties
An understanding of both the Head (3rd party) and Residential leases including receipting and refunding of bonds
Experience of conducting property inspections and ingoing and outgoing reports
Liaising with a range of diverse stakeholders
Assisting with the preparation of tenancy agreements
Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft office software applications
Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation, regulations and standards.
