To provide appropriate reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices utilised in the Central Sterilisation Services Department in accordance with relevant National and International Standards and Departmental Policies and Procedures.Our Hospital and Community:Established in 1958, The Sutherland Hospital campus offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and community services to around 226,000 residents of the Sutherland Shire, colloquially known as ‘The Shire’. Part of the (SESLHD) and located in Caringbah, the hospital campus is close to some of Sydney’s great beaches, restaurants, bars and cafes at Cronulla and is close to the beautiful Royal National Park. At Miranda, just a short walk away from the hospital, there is a Westfield Shopping Centre and cinema complex.The ideal candidate will have: * Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology.
  • Capable of prioritising work within established routines and procedures and responsible for work performed with a high level of accountability or discretion.
  • Work under limited supervision, either individually or in a small team.
  • Possess sound communication skills.
  • Motivated to work independently to meet deadlines and maintain standards according to HSO's Policies and Procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with well-developed organizational skills and sound knowledge of National and International Standards pertaining to Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices.
