The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Research Assistant to join The ORIGINS Project.The ORIGINS Project is the largest study of its kind in Australia and aims to follow 10,000 families in the Joondalup and Wanneroo communities over a decade collecting biological samples, routine data and web-based questionnaires to help discover the causes of non-communicable diseases and improve child and adult health.Reporting to our Project Manager and closely working with the Data and Paediatric Team, you will work towards increasing participant engagement and compliance with the key data and sample requirements of The ORIGINS Project. The role will involve undertaking phone calls to encourage participants to complete questionnaires, as well as supporting participants to complete their questionnaires at face-to-face clinic appointments.This position will be based between Telethon Kids Joondalup and Joondalup Health Campus. This role will be offered on a full-time basis for 12 months.About YouTo be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
