Troocoo have been engaged to recruit a HR Officer (AO5) - Generalist contract position commencing ASAP until 28th February 2025 with the potential to extend, located within Brisbane CBD.As a HR Officer (AO5), you will provide HR administrative support, advice and coordination to support the delivery of people services, programs and initiatives within the business.The role (including but not limited to):

Assist managers with interpretation and provide routine advice on state government legislation, regulations and departmental HR policy.
Maintain systems and procedures to ensure their relevance and effectiveness e.g., periodically checking the quality of workforce data in Aurion, providing staff with access to team SharePoint sites, auditing Timesheet records etc.
Update the organisational chart on the SharePoint Site.
Assist in preparing and developing of reports, submissions, briefing notes and other correspondence in relation to a range of human resources issues.
Develop and maintain strong professional networks with stakeholders.
Any ad hoc administration duties.

Your experience:

Previous Government HR experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, negotiate outcomes, and tailor HR information to suit a range of audiences.
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to accurately maintain records
A go-getter and ability to hit the ground running
High attention to detail and confidence engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders
