The Organisation:Our client is a Tier 1 food manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for their purpose-built site in Western Sydney. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will have a number of direct reports to manage including fitters and electricians.This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a leading and innovative company. The role offers excellent career progression for dedicated and high-performing individuals.The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance team, overseeing all installation of new equipment, and ensuring the company’s facilities and equipment are well maintained supporting business operations. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.Responsibilities:

Develop maintenance procedures and a planned preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and lead the team to deliver effectively.
Planning and delegating department work schedules prioritising the reduction of machinery downtime, leading toolbox talks for the afternoon shift
Maintain oversight of the Maintenance resources in conjunction with the maintenance manager to ensure appropriate levels of effectiveness versus cost.
Ensure that productivity and efficiency in production is maximized with minimum disruption the site
Monitor equipment to identify possible breakdown and repair

Skills Required:

Experience in FMCG environment, food manufacturing site experience would be desired
Proven experience as a Maintenance supervisor or senior maintenance fitter
Ability to interact at all levels of the organisation
Experience in managing a team, you will be required to be hands on and lead from the front
Working knowledge of the site’s machines and equipment

Shift Time: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm - Occasional Saturdays early morning
