Your primary responsibility is to perform/control a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage,and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, decontamination, etc.Key responsibilities:Manual handling, packing, and unpacking of productsTransport/ courier service bookingPut away, replenishment and retrieval of productsDecontamination of incoming products (training provided)Responsible for ensuring safe work practices are always followed to assure the health and safety of oneself or other persons in the companyAdhere to organization and department policies, quality procedures and protocols.General housekeepingAdministration dutiesAd-hoc dutiesSkills and experience required:Warehouse experience preferred - picking orders, packing freight, receiving inbound products, stock take assistance and all other associated work requirementsProactive attitude to work and being a team playerWell organised, process oriented and diligent with an eye for detail and quality.Energetic and positive approach to all duties, challenges, deadlines, and team membersStrong clear communication skills verbal and writtenAbility to understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety regulations including safe manual handling techniquesAbility to positively contribute to a team environment, supporting others as well as working independently even under pressure.Relevant qualificationsUnderstanding of computers and assigned software.Salesforce or ServiceMax, SAP experience advantageous.Due to the nature of the role in relation to decontaminating incoming products, the candidate will be required to take on additional vaccination (Hep A/B).Click on apply if this sounds like you!Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
