- Review and monitor the performance of existing Utilities using key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimum operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety.
- Issue quarterly utilities performance benchmarking reports, analyzing KPIs and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
- Monitor and support facilities in implementing recommendations and closing identified gaps from benchmarking reports.
- Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops internally among Global Manufacturing facilities.
- Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on Utilities operation, including process design, troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities, and capacity test runs. Issue service reports for each support activity, detailing the facility's needs, actions taken, results, and lessons learned.
- Propose cost optimization or process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Global Manufacturing facility engineers through operational adjustments or design modifications.
- Conduct internal assessments on Utilities using This Company engineering standard references and endorse any deviations or better standards applied by affiliates for facility management or This Company Central Engineering.
- Act as the overall coordinator for cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs for Utilities in operating facilities, enabling execution and effective monitoring.
- Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for any capital investments on assigned Utilities, supporting techno-economic evaluations.
- Stay informed about Utilities technology developments in the industry and endorse evaluations and approvals to Central Engineering to facilitate field deployment.
- Support the arrangement and facilitation of technical knowledge exchange workshops with major equipment suppliers for Utilities and Global Manufacturing facilities.
- Participate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required by Utility operating facilities.
- Willingness to relocate to Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of total Utilities unit experience, including both process engineering and operations.
- At least 10 years of specific experience in handling utilities.
- Exposure to major equipment suppliers/package units for Utilities is preferred.
