Our client, a thriving firm with an exciting and dynamic client base, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. They provide services to established and emerging companies across a diverse range of industries.Key responsibilities will include:- Independently leading the planning phases of audit files.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise financial audit strategies tailored to client needs.- Working closely with managers to anticipate and address potential challenges or budgetary constraints.- Conducting audits for diverse entities, including large proprietary companies, NFPs, and Government organisations.- Coordinating engagements independently and reporting directly to the Partner where necessary.- Ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory standards across various frameworks.- Analysing and documenting internal controls and control environments.- Drafting comprehensive management letters and completion reports.- Mentoring junior colleagues and fostering internal relationships.- Engaging with clients to identify future opportunities for collaboration.To succeed in this role, you will need:- 2-3 years of external audit experience within a professional services firm.- CA/CPA qualification or actively pursuing accreditation.- Impeccable attention to detail.- Experience in reviewing general-purpose accounts, including those of listed entities.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define scope effectively.- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a passion for team development.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to Audit software.- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent residency status.For further information or a confidential discussion, please contact Twinkle Raja at or call 0439 629 666.
