Our aim is to improve safety, service, people, and costs whilst contributing to, and delivering the transformation strategy for the benefit of CSR and our customers.THE OPPORTUNITYCSR are seeking a dynamic, influential Logistics Manager to lead our NSW team and manage one of our largest sites at Wetherill Park. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the NSW Logistics team through significant change across our logistics operations whilst delivering operational excellence.Reporting into the General Manager of Logistics you will be responsible for leading all warehouse and transport operations at our flagship facility.About the role:
  • Relentlessly promote a safe system of operation in the workplace with a goal of Zero Harm and ensure all hazards, incidents, accidents, injuries and near misses are reported accurately.
  • Deliver exceptional service outcomes for both our NSW customers and our national network.
  • Develop an annual budget, provide forecast inputs and manage logistics activity to budget/forecast.
  • Manage industrial agreements to achieve appropriate commercial and performance outcomes and flexibility for future Supply Chain changes.
  • Lead the organisation and execution of receipt, storage and despatch of goods.
  • Collaborate with team and stakeholders to develop ideas, prioritise initiatives and implement solutions to improve safety, service, people and costs.
  • Drive all major investigations regarding customer complaints and safety incidents to ensure they are addressed immediately.
  • Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, inventory management and customer service.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor appropriate KPIs and ensure robust measurement and reporting in place to communicate performance and progress.
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders in manufacturing, planning and customer service to ensure clear line of sight on plans, schedules, and events to enable a responsive outcome.
About you:
  • Over 7 years of experience in similar logistics roles with a track record of successfully delivering tactical improvements.
  • Experience driving change within a logistics environment.
  • Your leadership skills are top-notch, enabling you to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excel at building and maintaining internal and external relationships.
  • Navigate the delicate balance between people management and achieving performance outcomes.
