You will be responsible for ensuring that clients' HVAC systems are functioning efficiently, meeting safety standards, and delivering optimal comfort levels.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular system performance checks, identify inefficiencies, and recommend appropriate solutions to improve energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, equipment repairs, and installations.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service Technician
- Solid knowledge of various air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, heat load calculations, and system controls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Relevant trade qualifications and certifications (e.g., Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate, ARCtick license) will be highly regarded.
- Hourly rate up to $50ph, depending on experience and qualifications.
