- Based at Rio Tinto's Port Hedland Maintenance operation working a local 7 days on; 7 days off roster
- Provide coordination and supervision of a small team to safely and efficiently control the processing of salt from seawater, and maintain civil assets
- Complete daily review of performance against KPI's including identifying root causes of deviations and corrective actions
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities to process and systems
- Ensure that operations staff have sufficient skill and knowledge to effectively perform their roles
- Communicate with the stakeholders regarding planning parameters, service and maintenance requirements, process performance and recommendations for improvement
- Participate in or lead teams in trials and projects to improve processes and performance
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
- Experience in leading a team
- Demonstrated civil maintenance experience
- Unrestricted “C” Class driver's license
- Proficient use of MS Word and Excel
- Excellent data interpretation and analysis skills
