Because of this, our people are energised and motivated in their work.We're Australia's #2 Great Place to Work in 2023!The OpportunityThe main purpose of this role is to lead and drive operational maturity as it relates to the migration, deployment and ongoing management of customer workloads in Microsoft Azure.The role will provide technical guidance, training, solutions, and hands-on experience to operational staff who are responsible for the end to end management of customer Azure environments. They will work closely with Microsoft support to drive support outcomes and time-sensitive escalation.This is a great opportunity to join one of Australia's best-run Cloud Services organisations within a high-performing team. \nWhat you'll be doing
  • Provide specialist architecture, design and implementation advice to CMND as it relates to migrating and deploying workloads in Microsoft Azure, driving positive customer outcomes.
  • Problem Management and responding to escalation of customer tickets from operations teams.
  • Contribute to customer-centric Azure runbooks through the use of Powershell and ARM templates, using git for version control.
  • Work closely with Azure Product and Architecture to ensure product outcomes are being achieved.
Your ideal skills & experience
  • 4+ years' experience delivering IaaS and PaaS solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Identity, Virtual Machines, Virtual Networking, Storage, and associated end-to-end service architecture.
  • Demonstrable experience performing on-premise to Azure migrations leveraging native Azure or 3rd party tooling.
  • Strong Documentation skills and the ability to write clear Work Instructions for other engineers to follow.
  • Strong PowerShell automation and Azure Resource Manager template experience.
