Your ImpactThe Marketing Manager for the Carlton Portfolio, valued at $540 million in Net Sales Value (NSV), plays a pivotal role in shaping the long-term marketing and brand strategy for Carlton Dry, Carlton Draught, and the entire Carlton sub-brand family. This leadership position aims to drive NSV growth and profitability for Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), Proudly part of Asahi Beverages.As the second-largest beer portfolio, just behind The Great Northern Brewing Company, the Carlton collection is crucial to CUB's overall commercial success. Designated as a Lynchpin priority brand, Carlton spans both Contemporary and Classic beer categories, offering a rich variety for beer enthusiasts.The role involves significant strategic planning to create stronger synergies within the Carlton family of brands, ensuring that marketing investments are used more effectively. This is a unique opportunity to lead and innovate in one of the company's most important brand portfolios, creating a cohesive approach to future growth and success.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading, developing and executing short and long-term brand strategy and integrated commercial plans
  • Bringing the brand creative platform to life with a sound connections strategy and plan
  • Growing brand power and key brand health metrics
  • Leading key brand projects
  • Monitoring overall brand performance and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Championing the brand across the business and finding opportunities to support our customers growth agenda
  • Supporting key marketing projects such as portfolio strategy and 3YP
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring team members to deliver the plan.
About you:
  • Outstanding experience in defining effective research and agency briefs and management, sets the standard of what great looks like.
  • Strong expertise in brand positioning and core creative development process
  • Exceptional ability to integrate brand & channel plans which consistently deliver to required commercial outcomes
  • Deep commercial ability in budget management, P&L understanding and analysis
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of market, consumer and shopper trends and influence on brand activation and drives the need for insight vs information
