Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Description:Working as a Transportation Analyst in the Caterpillar Transportation team, you will be responsible for the coordination of the transportation activities, supporting facilities, external customers and Dealers relating to Prime product. You will be required to understand and manage the entire transport operation, and make recommendation to ensure safety, velocity and cost targets are metAdditional responsibilities of the role will include;Point of contact in working with Dealers on Direct Shipment Products.Escalation within the traffic department regarding Outbound Deliveries to Dealer Network.Daily coordination and efficient planning of administrative tasks, data entry to capture movements.Preparing the planning for inbound arrivals and managing Last Mile activity.Processing and auditing of freight invoices, inclusive of analysis to validate charges.Looking up inbound Shipments in various systems for monitoringApprove additional shipments (spot quotations) of air/sea/freight packaging.Verification of all completed documents relating to import shipments, working with internal stakeholders- EWM griefs follow-up and incident ticketing.Use of Internal Ground transport System working with facilities to gather shipping and invoicing accuracyDevelop and review optimization opportunities of the existing processes.Be lead in developing SOCI Process in Australia working with Transportation partners and Internal business unitsWorking with various stakeholders TLM, Compliance and Orders Team to execute shipment requirements and project related activityBackground / Experience:Good interpersonal skills.
