As our business is growing, we are looking for a Full Time Mechanical Engineer. The salary for this role is $90,000 - $95,000.About the roleAs a Mechanical Engineer your role will play a crucial part in working on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities include:Designs mechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Evaluates mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
Develops mechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following the manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; and requesting special services.
Maintain database and product database by writing computer programs and entering data.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction.
Developing specifications for manufacture and determining materials, equipment piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems.
Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment.
Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
Directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and mainenance schedules.
Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (master's preferred).
2 years of experience working in the mechanical engineering field or more.
Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs.
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Exceptional ability to engage and communicate with groups of people, tailoring communication to suit a specific target group or age range.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and database applications.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines.
White card is essential.

Ability to carry out mechanical design and modelling using CAD 2D / 3D (AutoCad, Inventor, Solidworks)
