- drafting of documentation as required;
- performing conflict searches and file opening;
- maintaining of extensive electronic filing for all incoming and outgoing correspondence (including splitting & saving documents in PDF format);
- preparation of all monthly billing;
- arranging court documents to be ready for e-filing / clerk run with the courts;
- managing all client file maintenance for the team;
- general file maintenance including closing and archiving;
- diary management including listing of key dates (court hearings and due dates);
- organising of internal and external meetings and room bookings where required;
- maintaining mail log of all incoming and outgoing mail and organise courier or postage as and when necessary;
- liaising with suppliers and ordering office supplies for the Darwin Office;
- co-ordinating staff related functions for the Darwin Office;
- co-ordinating basic maintenance/cleaning for the Darwin Office; and
- general management of day-today office and other ad hoc tasks.
- minimum of two years’ experience in an administration environment (professional services preferable);
- experience working a document management system (eg iManage10 would be highly desirable);
- experience with large MS Word and PDF documents;
- previous experience with billing. (eg use of Aderant highly desirable);
- strong attention to detail;
- proactive and willing to learn new things; and
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
